The initiative will concentrate on enhancing historical and cultural venues across Mandi and Hamirpur districts, renovating the ancient Naggar Castle in Kullu, and making public areas more attractive. It will also encompass the building of a convention center in Kangra and better facilities for travelers along the Kullu, Hamirpur, and Kangra routes.

By integrating eco-friendly options like solar lights and electric cars, these enhancements will address the requirements of the elderly, women, kids, and individuals with disabilities.

Apart from improvements to infrastructure, the initiative will create wellness centers, tourist leisure areas, a facility for adventure sports, a water park network, and paths for biking. These fresh amenities are anticipated to create job chances for the local population and enhance the economic growth of the area.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) plans to enhance the ability of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board by helping with the development of a tourism strategy and marketing strategy. Additionally, the bank aims to back small to medium-sized businesses by providing them with training and the development of new skills. This will allow local communities to offer superior tourism services.

Additionally, the initiative seeks to enhance local tourism governance, supporting their creation of well-thought-out tourism strategies and improved oversight of tourist locations.
