FPSB India is planning to introduce the ‘Psychology of Practice’ course for financial experts, with more information available here.

FPSB India, the Indian branch of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), has today revealed the commencement of its ‘Psychology of Practice’ course at the India Financial Planning Conclave 2024, held together with the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) in GIFT City, Gandhinagar.

The program, designed for professionals in the financial industry, is scheduled to launch in December 2024 and will be incorporated into the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) training program by April 2025.

The FPSB, located in the United States, is an international body focused on creating, advancing, and upholding standards of professionalism in financial planning, achieved through the CFP certification. FPSB India is the residence of over 2,731 CFP professionals, comprising a worldwide network of over 223,770 CFP professionals.

Additionally, the British Council is soliciting applications for the Study UK Alumni Awards 2025, which aim to celebrate outstanding alumni for their significant contributions.

The ‘Psychology of Practice’ course aims to equip financial experts with a more profound comprehension of how clients act, thus improving consultation services and nurturing enduring relationships with clients.

The gathering also emphasized the expanding financial services environment, especially in GIFT IFSC, home to more than 700 financial institutions currently in operation. Dipesh Shah, the Executive Director of IFSCA, highlighted the growing chances for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) experts in this area, noting GIFT IFSC’s position as a hub for developing young talent in India’s finance and tech sectors.
