The Central Bureau of Investigation submitted its third set of charges related to the case involving the leak of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2024 examination question paper to the Special Court for CBI matters in Patna. This was reported by agency sources on Saturday.
On September 20, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted the second document outlining charges against six defendants in the case. This document included allegations against six defendants, including Baldev Kumar, also known as Chintu, Sunny Kumar, Ahsanul Haque (who is also the Principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh and serves as the City Coordinator there), Md. Imtiyaz Alam (who is both a Vice-Principal at Oasis School and the Head of Centre at Oasis School), Jamaluddin, better known as Jamal, a Newspaper Reporter from Hazaribagh, and Aman Kumar Singh.

The bill of account was entered into under different sections of the Indian Penal Code, such as Section 120-B (Criminal Conspiring), Section 109 (Assisting in a Crime), Section 409 (Evaluative Fraud), Section 420 (Deceitful Conduct), Section 380 (Obtaining by Fraud), Section 201 (Accomplishing the Disappearance of Evidence), and Section 411 (False Acquisition of Stolen Items).
Furthermore, substantial allegations were made under Section 13(2) in conjunction with Section 13(1)(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (revised in 2018), against the principal of Oasis School, who was designated as the city coordinator, and the vice principal, who was appointed as the centre superintendent for organizing the NEET UG-2024 examination by the NTA.
Additionally, the dates for JEE Main, NEET, CUET 2025 have not yet been revealed.
On August 1, 2024, CBI submitted the initial complaint document for 13 suspects.
The inquiry has uncovered that Ahsanul Haque, the head of Oasis School and serving as the City Coordinator for Hazaribagh for the NEET UG 2024 examination, collaborated with Md. Imtiyaz Alam, the school’s Vice-Principal, and the Centre Superintendent for the NEET UG 2024 examination, together with additional defendants, in plotting to unlawfully obtain the NEET UG question paper.
