GroceryBot is a recently launched iPhone app designed to make your grocery shopping and meal planning easier, offering a comprehensive solution for preparing meals.

The app claims to be the most intelligent grocery shopping app around, and I’d agree that it really lives up to that label. GroceryBot offers a variety of impressive functions aimed at simplifying your shopping trip, such as:

A convenient aspect of GroceryBot is its ability to categorize your shopping items by retailer. Right from the start, you can include your preferred supermarket chains in the app. Should you favor purchasing specific items from a particular store due to cost savings, or because it specializes in certain products, GroceryBot makes it simple to separate them. The interface includes a category for all purchases, followed by separate tabs for each store.

Moreover, you can interact with the in-built AI chat, which the creator asserts is designed with privacy in mind. Using the built-in assistant, you have the option to inquire about food suggestions or instruct it to include a week’s supply of a specific product on your shopping list. This is a useful addition, particularly when you’re not exactly sure what you need, or are looking to switch things up.

The final neat function is Bundles. This feature enables you to link a recipe from a website, and all necessary ingredients for that dish will be organized in the app. Afterward, you can simply swipe on the bundle to include the set of ingredients in your shopping cart.

GroceryBot is accessible for no charge in the App Store, featuring its essential functionalities. For a more comprehensive experience, including an advanced AI chat component, you can opt for the subscription plan GroceryBot+. This plan costs $2.99/month or $19.99/year. A device must be using the latest iOS 17 or an operating system version greater than that. Additionally, the app is accessible on macOS and through Apple Vision Pro as an iPhone application. However, it is important to note that no direct versions of the app are available for these platforms.
