An incident involving a gun was filed with authorities near the residence of Punjabi artist and musician AP Dhillon in the Canadian city of Vancouver. Although Dhillon has not made a formal statement regarding the incident, a news piece from India Today suggests that incarcerated criminal Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara have taken accountability for the shooting. This event occurred shortly after Dhillon premiered a new song titled Old Money, which includes Salman Khan, in a music video.
Salman worked with AP Dhillon to create a music video for the track “Old Money,” which came out in August. The video also included Sanjay Dutt. In the scene, Salman steps in to save AP and his sidekick Bunty when they find themselves at a disadvantage in a battle.

AP Dhillon shared the music video on his Instagram and gave a shoutout to Salman in the caption. “Old Money Out Now. A big thank you to Bhai and Baba for having faith in the young man,” he mentioned.
The same document that mentioned Salman Khan also revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi and associates are responsible for the shooting. According to the report, the criminals threatened the musician, saying, “stay within your boundaries, or you’ll end up facing a canine demise,” as reported.
In July, Salman Khan included Lawrence Bishnoi and his sibling Anmol Bishnoi in the criminal complaint lodged by the Mumbai Police regarding the shooting event that occurred near his residence. Salman disclosed, “I am convinced that Lawrence Bishnoi, along with his cohorts, initiated the shooting while my family members were asleep, with the intent to murder us.” He disclosed to the authorities that his family had been receiving various threats in the previous years.
Two individuals on motorcycles launched an attack on Salman Khan’s home in the Galaxy Apartment complex in Mumbai’s Bandra region on April 14, then escaped from the scene.
